This Saturday is Happening in Downtown Dixon!

April Second Saturdays happens April 9th, 6:00 pm-midnight in downtown Dixon. Second Saturdays is a monthly cultural event in downtown Dixon. Small businesses host a variety of artists and musicians for a night of entertainment. Here is a list of the art happenings for this month!

Live music by Lojo Russo will be from 7-9 p.m. Russo’s style of music is a little bit of everything funk, folk, jazz and jam combination you can only imagine!

America on Metal by Brian Strock 6-10 p.m. Brian Strock is an amateur Fine Art Landscape Photographer from the heart of the Midwest. He relies on blending exposures and other digital enhancements to maximize the art in photography.

Patio’s Irish Pub

Trippin Molly will be playing from 7-11 p.m. This is a Midwestern modern rock band.

Open Mic. will be from 7-12 p.m. sign ups start at 6 p.m. A variety of musicians will take the stage to share their music at this family friendly event!

Musician Jeff Kagay will be performing many of his acoustic numbers during the TNPS Second Saturday Reception that will also feature a live demo by Watercolor artist Graydon Cafarella from 6-8 p.m.

Live music by Lizzi Neal Band will be starting at 9 p.m. Lizzi Neal Band takes decades of combined experience and love of all genres to create a paralyzing Contemporary Blues sound. Influenced at an early age by Blues, Soul and Jazz, power house Lizzi Neal displays mad ranging vocals and the ability to Co-write songs with Dave Neal that range from a witty, upbeat jazzy number, to a sultry heart wrenching soul song.
