DMS Upcoming Events

Now on to the DMS Events and Updates ...
Sept. 6 -- Join us for Main Street Mornings at Books on First at 7:30 a.m. for an informal meeting of merchants and stakeholders in the community. There will be free coffee and treats provided by C&N Supply and Books on First. We will be talking about business plans and sharing tips and information. Come and share in the conversation!

Sept. 10 -- Dixon Wine Festival at Distinctive Gardens. The annual fall Wine Festival will be at Distinctive Gardens again this year from 6-10 pm. Local restaurants will share food samplings as you take in the refreshments. Tickets are $20 in advance and available at Trein's or Crystal Cork. Sept. 21 -- Lunch and Learn at the Post House Ballroom at Noon. The program will be John Thompson from the Dixon Chamber of Commerce, food by Spurgeon's Bay and sponsored by Wipfli. Cost is just $3 and includes lunch.

Sept. 24 -- Scarecrow Festival presented by Hicks Insurance from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. The annual fall festival will feature classic events like pumpkin painting, doggy zoo, sidewalk chalk and much more! Oct. 23 -- The Ultimate Tailgate Cook-off at the Beanblossom Parking Lot from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. Featuring three cooking categories: Chili, Salsa and BBQ. Plus a Bags Tourney throughout the day. More details to come soon!

Sept. 11 -- 63rd Annual Grand Detour Arts Festival from 9-4 p.m. at the John Deere Historic Site.
Sept. 17 -- Oktoberfest presented by The Stables from 3 p.m. - 7 p.m. The mini-fest will feature Oktoberfest themed brews from a variety of vendors, food, and music. More details to come soon.

Don't Forget About: Dixon Park District's Farmers' Market at Haymarket Square every Wednesday and Saturday from 7 a.m. - Noon through October.
