Pictures with Santa -- At the Mini Mall on east First Street.
Get your picture with Santa and take a slide like in the classic movie A
Christmas Story.
The Great Snowball Drop -- corner of First and Ottawa, with more than $1,000
in cash and prizes. Sponsored by Dixon Paint Company, ACE Hardware and Dixon Tourism. Top prize
is a $500 shopping spree. A chance at winning gift certificates and prizes
from: Casey's General Store, Do It Best, Waterfront Gifts, Frameworks, Crystal
Cork, Trein's Jewelry, Next Picture Show, Dixon Tourism and many more! More
than 2,000 bags of Jelly Belly's to be handed out!
Horse and Wagon Rides -- loading at Town Square
Center
Community Caroling -- 8 p.m. at the corner of First and
Hennepin. Join in with local choirs as we sing classic holiday songs!
50/50 Raffle -- Annual Christmas Walk Raffle. Tickets are $5
each or a 5 for $20. Last year's winner took home $3,500. Tickets available at
our raffle booth by Books on First or at Venier's Jewelry.
Blacksmith Demonstrations -- John Deere Historic Site
Blacksmith Rick Trahan will be set up across from Venier's Jewelry
demonstrating his art.
Live Reindeer -- Come see Santa's reindeer by Mama Cimino's
on Peoria Ave.
Loveland Community House Open
House -- All our rooms will be open to
walk through, to reintroduce Loveland to the Dixon community. An open
art tour of all the paintings featuring many well known local artists will be
hosted by the Phidean Art Club. The Eastman School of Dance will also have a
dance presentation with selections from the Nutcracker Suite.Our Museum will
also be open for all to get a glimpse of Dixon's colorful history, as well as
coffee, hot cider, munchies and live music in our Ladies Lounge. Feel free to
make use of our large parking lot and make LCH your first or last stop on your
walk.

Ronald Reagan Boyhood Home volunteers on hand with gifts from the Boyhood Home
Visitor's Center.
Next Picture Show -- Sauk Valley Bank will be co-sponsoring
with KSB and Wal-Mart to have gingerbread men cookie decorating for the kids
with lots of give-a-ways. Also, a musical performance by Kathy Cecchetti
singing Christmas songs for everyone.
US Bank Cookie Ladies -- The traditional Cookie and Bake
Sale will take place throughout the night!
Fifth Third Bank -- Jeremy the Amazer featuring his famous
balloon animals.

Ginko Tree Cafe --serving teas, coffee, mulled cider, hot

We are having live music by Jay VonBruchhaeuser and Nate Gordon from 6-9.
We will have a drawing for free tea, lunch, classes and other goodies
