This year purchase your ticket to
the Festival in 2 ways.

Purchase
a multiple day ticket for our Festival grounds music and entertainment area for
$15.00 and the ticket will get you into the area for Wednesday, Thursday,
Friday, and Saturday. Sunday is a family free day, no admission is needed.
2.
OR
pay an entry fee for only the days you will be at the Festival grounds music
and entertainment area. The daily
admission fee is $5.00 for Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Sunday is
a family free day, no admission is needed. Children 12 and under are free
every day at the Festival grounds and music area.
3.
Free admission to the carnival grounds every day for
everyone!
Multiple day tickets are good for use on Wednesday,
Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Your ticket will be punched or marked each day
upon admission. You will need to
keep your one ticket for the entire Petunia Festival. Please note
that Sunday is a free admission day. The Board of Directors welcomes you

back the North American Midway Entertainment Carnival. Tickets will be
available at a discount prior to the festival. You can save $2.00 to $5.00 per

“Green Friendly”
Also this year the Dixon Petunia
Festival is “Going Green.” We are combing efforts with Secure Recycling to
become more ecologically friendly. Throughout the festival grounds you will be
able to throw items away in specially marked containers for recycling.

No Limit Hold ’Em Tournament - Dixon Elks
Lodge #779 - 1279 Franklin Grove Road,

All players must be at least 21
years of age to participate in the
tournament. The entry fee will be
$60 for the first 10,000 chips. There will be a $30 optional add-on for an
additional 5,000 chips. Prepayment of registration fee will gain a player an
additional 2,000 chips. Only cash will be accepted on the day of the tournament
for entry fee or add-on. Play will begin at 6:00 p.m. sharp. Registration forms
are available at the Dixon Elks Lodge or
the Dixon Main Street.
Completion of the registration form and prepayment
must be submitted to the Dixon Elks Lodge. The deadline for early registration
with prepayment will be Friday, June 27, 2014. Registration on the day of the tournament
will begin at 4:30 p.m. at the Dixon Elks Lodge.

This event, also known
as "Corn Hole", has been a very popular event year after year for
both players and viewers. This is a best 3 of 5 games, single eliminations
tournament. Registration begins at Noon with play starting at 1pm in
front of the main stage along River
Street between the bridges. $20/ team. Two players
per team. Bring friends and family along to enjoy the music, food, beverages
and a nice cold "adult" beverage.

Bloom and Boom - First Street Downtown Dixon
Brush, Bloom, and Boom
will take place in downtown Dixon on
Friday, July 4th. This all-ages event has downtown streets as the canvas as
artists will help us decorate the downtown for the Petunia Festival. Starting
at Noon, artists will paint 4 foot by 4 foot squares. Pre-registration is just
$10 per square. Participants can pre-register by downloading a form at www.petuniafestival.org/brushbloomboom or
getting a form at Dixon Main
Street. Day of registration is $15 and will
begin at 11 a.m. at the corner of Peoria and River Street with judging taking place at 5 p.m. Paint and

between the bridges on the north side of the river near the site of the
original Fort Dixon.

International World Class Corps Jersey Surf, the Colts and Pioneer, along with

way to end the first 50 years of the Petunia Festival! Fireworks will be launched from the south
side of the Rock River near the 900 block of West First Street. Spectator
seating will be allowed on both sides of the river and on the Peoria Avenue
Bridge. Enjoy the show with synchronized music on
River Country 101.7 FM. A big thank you
