Albrecht named Future Leader; Upcoming Events Info

Last night DMS Executive Director Josh Albrecht was awarded the Future Leaders Award by the Chamber of Commerce. And, Jim Sarver of Sinnissippi Centers (former DMS Board Member) was named the Citizen of the Year! The VFW was named Organization of the year and KSB Hospital was named Business of the Year during the Chamber's annual banquet. Congratulations to all!

TIE-ONE-ON PARTY THIS FRIDAY NIGHT

Join DMS volunteers as we guest bartend at The Stables on Friday, February 1 from 6 p.m. - 10 p.m. and maybe a little longer if we can talk Ryan into it! The theme is Tie-One-On and all guests are encouraged to wear their craziest neck tie in the best way they can think of. Prizes awarded for best and worst ties. I LOVE MAIN STREET GALA

Our Annual Dixon Main Street Gala is set for Saturday, February 16 at the Post House Ballroom. This year's theme of I Love Main Street will make for a lovely evening. The evening includes live music by Chameleon, a live and silent auction, the DMS Volunteer of the Year Award presentation, dinner by Basil Tree, and much more. Table Sponsorship is $250 and individual tickets are $30. A great way to support Main Street and have a wonderful night out!

SHOP TALK

The February Shop Talk on Tuesday, February 5 from 5 to 6ish. A great way to get tips and tricks and to share ideas with other small business owners. Shop Talk is at Books on First in downtown Dixon. Refreshments are served! The February topic will be Business Building Reminders for the New Year.
